New, larger iPhone makes responsive design mandatory
All 360 suite software supports the 'responsive design' methodology, whereby the screen display automatically re-formats itself to correctly display on the screen of a smart phone, tablet or netbook. Rather than displaying just a section of the screen information, 360 will discern the screen real estate available and re-write the info for a logical display.

New ad hoc report module with instant export to mail merge
The expanded ad hoc report writer now allows a search on any field within the database. The search may be saved against the individual administrator and re-run as required. Searches producing member names may be exported to the email module for automatic creation of email lists, and despatch of the emails.

Task Management Module
An administration task management module is in alpha testing.

Coalitions Plan will bring forward profits for ISP's
The coalitions NBN alternative plan proposes fibre to the node, as against the current NBN's fibre to the home. Whilst Malcolm Turnbull is quite correct in that his plan would be both quicker to roll out and at a much lower cost, the speeds acheivable would be lower.
In an interesting take, ZD Net interviewed some ISP execs who agree that they would make money faster under Malcolms plan, however their CTO's were in love with the NBN as is.

NBN Behind time and over budget?
Whilst we all long for the bandwidth that fibre to the home will offer, at what we hope will be a reasonable price, mounting controversy over the NBN Company performance, culminated last week with the resignation of the CEO Mike Quigley. Did he jump or was he pushed?
A recent article in the SMH shows some of the problems involved in the rollout, and the unexpected popularity of the service in the Nation's Capital. It suggests a high level of take up can be as problematic as a high level of disinterest
